I am currently an editor at Vox. I was previously editor with Book World at The Washington Post. My work has appeared in Slate, the New Yorker, the Atlantic, Smithsonian, and other other publications.

I hold a PhD in English from Cornell University, and I have taught at both Cornell and Georgetown.
